The beginnings of Fila wood joinery

Our family business started in 1946, when Jerzy Fila opened his carpentry workshop. Since the beginning of our business we have been making high quality wooden doors and windows.

Until the 1980s we made only casement windows and classic exterior doors. With the passage of time and gaining new experience we have implemented, following the latest trends and technology, single-frame rotating windows with double glazing. During this time we expanded our production capacity and launched operation on a larger scale by offering windows and doors to customers throughout the EU.

The present – windows and doors for demanding customers

Constant growth and striving to become the leader in manufacturing of high quality wooden windows and doors resulted in the construction of a modern carpentry shop in 2012. The new production line, based on state-of-the-art equipment and professional workforce, allowed us to triple the existing production capacity, which opened the door for us to enter new markets.

Currently manufactured windows, internal doors and external doors are characterized by modern design, high quality of workmanship and innovative solutions. Particularly noteworthy are the double circumferential gaskets, aluminum drip molds on the frame and leaf and the "soft line" profile, with all edges rounded.

Modern and traditional joinery design

Our products are made of many species of three-layer “gluelam” wood: native pine and oak through Siberian larch, to exotic species such as red meranti, eucalyptus, sumatra and white soraya. We care about the natural environment, using ecological methods of manufacturing. Our windows and doors are painted twice by spraying, after prior double immersion impregnation, using water-dilutable, environmentally friendly varnishes. This not only guarantees the highest quality of coating, which is resistant to the ambient conditions for many years, but also protects the environment in an important way.

Fila windows and doors are appreciated not only in Poland. The high quality and manufacturing process, taking into account strict ecological standards, allowed us to enter very demanding EU markets, including Germany, France and Italy.
